MSMC and the Department of Social and Political Sciences are excited to host a new symposium exploring how trust and authority are reshaped in contemporary journalistic environment and media landscape.
The event will feature a practitioners’ round table in the morning and three research presentations in an afternoon topic-specific panel:
- Rethinking News Media Trust and News Efficacy in the Contemporary Information Ecology: Empirical evidence from Italy.
- Organizing Reliability: Metajournalistic Discourse and Trust-Building in Italian Social Journalism on Instagram
